Sarah Toler is Power to Decide's Senior Director of Content. In this role, she creates evidence-based sexual health content that encourages every person to make decisions and access the care that they need. Her goal at Power to Decide is to increase access to contraception and abortion for everyone who needs it.

Sarah began writing sexual health campaigns as a copywriter and creative director, working on some international period care and contraceptive brands. She spent years creating online content like sites, apps, and games for reproductive health brands before deciding she needed to work on the clinical side as well to learn how to effectively reach people with reproductive health needs. She became a Certified Nurse Midwife and worked with all types of people across the state of Texas during pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate in Midwifery from Baylor University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Writing from the University of Technology, Sydney.
